How to fix pen drive using Command Prompt

In this post I am going to tell how to fix pen drive using command . As we know at some time our pendrive will become some mbs(instead of their size) because of containing virus or disturb file system.So lets get start to fix pendrive...

Here are the command listed below :

Step :1

Insert your Pen drive which are affected.

Step :2

Click on start button and type Command Prompt right click on command prompt for open as administrator.

Step :3

Type diskpart and press enter , a new pop up command prompt will open

Step :4

Type list disk and press enter.(It will show all your disk including your usb drive or pendrive)

Step :5

Type select disk 1 and press enter .(Select disk only which are your pendrive you can easily identify with their size)

Step :6

Type clean and press enter. (clean command will clean your all data and their partition of your pendrive)

Step :7

Type create partition primary and press enter.(this command will create a primary partition for pendrive)

Step :8

Type active and press enter.

Step :9

Type select partiton 1 and press enter.

Step :10

Type format fs=fat32 and press enter. (With this command pendrive will going to format...)

Sit relaxed and grab a coffee because it will take approx 5 minutes.

After Formatting exit from command prompt and check your pendrive size by right click on the pendrive drive and then properties.
